Entrance Photos
Gate is padlocked, use code to gain entry. There is a post with a hoop on it to swing the gate back and secure it open during your event. The entrance is 13’ wide. The chalkboard can be used to write your event name. Chalk is usually there; however, it is recommend you bring your own chalk.
Entry "Main" Road
The road is a narrow single lane gravel road that winds through the forest to the parking area. Large trucks (ie. Food Trucks) may not be able to pass - you will need to double check with them. The road is often rutted because of rain and seasonal springs run-off. AWD & 4WD is recommended. It is .28 mile (500 yards) from the entry gate to the parking area.

Located at the end of the road in the grassy meadow.
Aspen Meadow Ceremony Area
The Aspen Meadow Arch is 8’ tall x 8’ wide x 6” deep. Arch is not guaranteed to be in place. Extreme weather or animals may damage the arch and repairs would take it out of commission.
Deer Mountain Ceremony Area
The Deer Mountain Arch is 7’6” tall x 6’6” wide x 3’6” deep. Arch is not guaranteed to be in place. Extreme weather or animals may damage the arch and repairs would take it out of commission.
Pavilion Shelter
There are fourteen (14) metal picnic tables under the Pavilion, two (2) of these tables are ADA accessible with shorter benches for wheelchair access. The table tops are 96” long x 34 1/4” wide x 31” high x 2” thick. The benches are 96” long x 12” wide x 19” high x 2” thick. The ADA benches are 72” long x 12” wide x 19” high x 2” thick.
The concrete slab is 34’ wide x 68’ long. The shelter canopy is 21’ wide x 61’6” long and 12’1” high at the peak. There are no lights or electricity under the Pavilion canopy.
The beams are metal and perfect for magnetic bulldog clips to hold Christmas/party style lights. No tape or adhesives of any kind may be used on beams.
The closest power outlet is approximately 19’ off the Northeast corner of the shelter on the light pole. (See image in Electric Section)

The toilet facility contains a men’s and women’s restroom and a storage closet. The toilets are pit style toilets with no running water. The men’s has one (1) urinal and one (1) stall, the women’s has two (2) stalls. Neither restroom has sinks, but they do have hand sanitizer dispensers.
There is a hand washing station located at the exterior of the facility. The water is pumped from a rain barrel. The pump is electric and must be plugged in with the yellow extension cord to the outlet on the front of the building. This water is not potable.
The storage closet contains keys to the restrooms, umbrellas for you to use, extra toilet supplies, and outdoor game supplies: horseshoes and one (1) cornhole game.

Lean To Shelter
#1 - Serving Area
This area has two (2) rows of flat “table” surfaces that are 30” wide x 187” and 192” long. There is one (1) 6’ picnic table adjacent to the shelter. This shelter has two (2) switched lights and five (5) electric outlets.
#2 - Seating Area
There is one (1) 8’ picnic table, and two (2) 6’ picnic tables in the shelter. This shelter has three (3) switched lights and three (3) electric outlets.
Footbridge
Guests may be dropped off at the Hydroplant Museum and walk across the bridge to the Pavilion area. The bridge padlock is the same combination as the front gate. No parking at the museum is allowed when the museum is open - loading and unloading only. Museum Hours Wed. - Sat. 1pm-4pm.
Games Area - Sand Court & Horseshoes
Horseshoes and one (1) Cornhole game is located in the Utility Closet. These items must be returned to the closet and are not guaranteed to be available. Bring your own games if this is important to your event.
Trash
There are trash cans in the toilets and there are three (3) trash containers in the Pavilion. All trash must be placed in the Bear Proof dumpster at the conclusion of your event. Trash cans must be relined with bags. Extra trash bags are in the utility closet.
Electricity
Lean To #1 - Five (5) 20A 120V electric outlets, and one (1) 20A 240V. Distance to edge of concrete pavilion = 43’

Extension cords and power strips are not provided. You must bring your own. A 100’ extension cord is recommended to be able to run power from the farthest outlet to the Pavilion.
Guidelines
Entry and Locks
The entry gate is unlocked using code 8-2-8-2. Open the gate inward and place the wire hook over the pole to keep the gate open during your event. Please Note: that the road leading to the venue is narrow and unpaved. You must close and lock the gate at the conclusion of your event. The same code 8-2-8-2 is also used for the Hydroplant Museum footbridge lock.
The Game and Utility Closet is accessed with the code 5-3-4. The restroom keys are located on the left wall inside this closet. Lock both restrooms, return the keys, and lock the closet at the conclusion of your event. A minimum fee of $300.00 will apply for failure to lock doors and gate, and return keys.

Venue Rental Hours
O’Connor Pavilion will be available on your rental day at the time indicated in your signed agreement. You must depart the venue by the contracted time, which includes clean-up and vehicle removal. A minimum fee of $250.00 per hour will apply for departure after your contracted time. NO EXCEPTIONS TO DEPARTURE TIME.
Parking & Drop-Off
The parking area is located just beyond the Aspen Meadow Ceremony site inside Pavilion grounds. All vehicles must be removed at the conclusion of your event. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IS ALLOWED.
The Hydroplant Museum (1754 Fish Hatchery Road) may be utilized as a drop-off/loading zone. Personal vehicles and small shuttles may utilize the loop drive, but Motorcoaches and larger shuttles will need to use the Museum’s parking lot for drop-off. The Museum is open Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.; therefore, no parking or extended idling is allowed during their hours of operation. Please note: Guests with physical limitations may want to utilize this drop-off zone. From the Museum, cross the footbridge over the river to access the Pavilion.

Ceremony and Reception Sites
There are two ceremony locations with arches located on the left-hand side of the entry road: Aspen Meadow Ceremony Site (first) and Deer Mountain Meadow Ceremony Site (second). You may use either location for a ceremony. Please note: This is a natural meadow and is only mowed three times per season. Arches may not be moved or taken down, and their presence is not guaranteed. There is no electricity at the ceremony sites.
Receptions must be held in the reception area near the pavilion structure and restrooms. Please note: the dirt walking path to this area is unlevel. It is permissible to use golf carts, 4x4s, or other vehicles to transport guests who need assistance.

Fire
Recreational wood burning, open flame, gas burning fires or appliances are not permitted. This includes camp fires, propane fire pits, heaters, and all grills. Fireworks, including sparklers are not permitted. NO EXCEPTIONS. Smoking is permitted but extreme caution should be utilized. Discard in devices designed to contain fire. Smoking is not allowed if there is a fire ban in effect. Failure to adhere to fire guidelines will result in a minimum fee of $500.00, and law enforcement involvement where citations may be issued above and beyond our minimum fee.
Trash
A bear-proof dumpster is located at the top of the hill near the parking area. No amount of trash may remain in receptacles at the conclusion of your event. ALL TRASH MUST BE PLACED IN THE DUMPSTER. Please make sure the dumpster latches are secure. Trash bags for your use are kept in the Utility Closet. Reline the trash cans after emptying trash. A minimum fee of $300.00 will apply for failure to secure trash and law enforcement may become involved possibly resulting in citations. Help us protect our wildlife.
Decorations
You may decorate for your event; however, you are responsible for removing all items. Glitter, rice, flower seeds, birdseed, and flower petals are NOT permitted. Only existing nails, hooks, or holes may be used to hang lights and/or decor. No tape that will leave a residue allowed. A minimum fee of $300.00 will apply if decorations are not removed or tape residue remains at the conclusion of your event.
Picnic Tables
Picnic tables may be moved, but MUST be returned to their original location at the conclusion of your event. A minimum fee of $500.00 will apply for failure to return picnic tables.
Rentals
All rental items, tables, chairs, etc., must be delivered after 8:00 a.m. on your rental day and be removed before the conclusion of your event or by 7:30 a.m. the next morning at the very latest. There is a high probability of another event after yours. A minimum fee of $500.00 will apply for items remaining after your event. *Please ask your event coordinator for rental resources, if needed.
Music
All music must conclude by 9:00 p.m. If noise complaints are received, music must be turned down immediately. Failure to adhere to noise regulations may result in law enforcement involvement which could result in citations and the premature end your event.
Cell Service
Be aware that cell service may be not be available at the Pavilion. It may be necessary to drive back towards town to be able to contact your on-call event coordinator, vendors, or guests.
Wildlife and Pets
O’Connor Pavilion has abundant wildlife. Please respect all wildlife. For everyone’s safety, monitor children and pets at all times. Dog handlers must adhere to Larimer County leash laws. Pet waste must be disposed of properly.
Game & Utility Closet
The game closet is located between the restrooms. The code to unlock the door is 5-3-4. There is a wash basin for handwashing only, no hand towels are provided. No dishwashing is permitted. Water is not potable, do not drink. You must provide drinking water for your guests. The closet contains the following supplies: extra hand-soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and trash bags.

Games are not sanitized between groups. It is your responsibility to sanitize them. All supplies and games must be returned neatly to the closet at the conclusion of your event, or a minimum fee of $150.00 will apply.

Liability Insurance
Proof of liability insurance is due a minimum of TEN DAYS before your event. Failure to provide proof of insurance will result in the cancellation of your event. Per your rental agreement, the commercial liability coverage must list the Town of Estes Park, 170 MacGregor Avenue, Estes Park, CO 80517 as additional insured in the amount of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate.
