Whiskey Warm Up celebrates our homegrown whiskey distilleries. Sip and sample the finest selections of Colorado whiskeys, listen to live music, peruse and purchase goods from area vendors, and delight in whiskey paired treats. You will have the opportunity to purchase bottles from your favorite distillery to enjoy at home.

The event is held outdoors at beautiful George Hix Riverside Plaza, so dress for the weather. This event has limited tickets and sells out quickly. Don’t miss this annual tradition of warming up from the inside out.

Free Event Shuttle will be available
Catch the free Whiskey Warm-Up shuttle connecting passengers to the event and stops at participating lodging partners.

2023 Entertainment

Jon Pickett was born in Dayton, OH and moved “home” to the mountains of Estes Park 20 years ago where his passion for teaching outdoor science evolved into a chance to live a life surrounded by music, friends & nature.
Now a full-time musician and an entertainer at heart Jon’s solo show is a fun and eclectic set ranging from original-soulful songs to his creative take on some of the best & obscure hits.  Blues to bluegrass, Petty to Sabbath, Motown to Americana, Van Morrison to Johnny Cash, new songs, old songs and everything in between. As well as writing & preforming solo Jon plays the upright bass and is a vocalist, songwriter and founding member of Colorado-based bluegrass band Chain Station. Jon Pickett
